Lightstar is a faithful believer in the gods. Everything they say, goes. If they say the Desert Faes need to breed with those others, then so be it. She can be vain and utterly proud, often believing the Deserts are worth more than any of the other breeds.
Deep inside, she's a sweet mare, but she often hides behind a facade of superiority and willingness to fight for her right and her beliefs.
Even so, she feels lost out of the desert. She knows this herd isn't truly hers, not the way the Desert herd was. This makes her doubt both herself, the herd and sometimes even the gods. Her insecurity and nervousness often lead to snapped remarks and insults.
History
Lightstar's light skin has always made her vulnerable for the hot sunshine in the desert. Her white fur has never been enough to protect her from getting burned.
Even though she loves her home, she doesn't regret leaving it as much as the other desert Faes. After all, joining the Plains herds will mean an end to the constant sunburns and blisters on her body.
She is curious about these other Faes and wonders whether mixing their Desert blood with that of those others will stop the degeneration of their breed. If the gods say so, then it will be.
She joined Starwing's herd after the Wintersday Journey because she had fallen in love with Chaos Angel. She still doesn't really fit into the herd and cannot understand why her mate shouldn't lead them.
Breeding and Romance
Lightstar has fallen in love with Chaos Angel, the Fae who tried to scare her when they first met. Her love is blind, even though she may try to influence him into taking the lead of the herd, she often stops mid-sentence to stare into his eyes.
To her, Chaos Angel is send by the gods... and so she loves him with heart and soul. She may disagree with his continued acceptance of the herd's line of command, but that has always been her only beef with him.
Divine Spark, their daughter, is the proof that their match was made in heaven... She's been filling the girl's head with her father's superiority over the rest of the herd and other nonsense... and may be much of the reason for Spark's often strange behavior.
