Gryphions - The Feathered Feet Gryphions are an adoptable for anyone who likes to tell their own story. We strive to make an involved adoptable with freedoms and lots of fun.
One aspect of the adoptable is roleplay. The Gryphions are a strange species of creatures. They are noble and intelligent, and in some cases they enjoy human counterparts. Humans and gryphions are to be considered 'equals'. Only in rare cases are humans actually the 'owner' of a gryphion. No, they are bonded together. A gryphion will either choose his partner, or the human will force him to. There are advantages and disadvantages to both forcing and willingly bonding a gryphion. Because it is very discouraged to 'force' a gryphion to bond, and very unlikely to even happen in the first place, we'll not go into that much. You can roleplay with others in your own roleplay, or join in an official roleplay to win prizes and items. If you are a good enough partner, your gryphion will be stronger than he ever could be alone. You may want to train with him, and together you could achieve great accomplishments with many awards.
Roleplaying is, of course, more than just what has been mentioned. It is your own story. It is life with your gryphion partner, and so much more.
But, another aspect of the adoptable is breeding. Breeding is something that for some reason, bonded gryphions are better at doing. A normal gryphion will have one hatchling per birth. A bonded gryphion giving birth might produce a litter of 3 or more! No one is sure why this happens, but it is a magical thing. We'll not question it, just apprichiate it. There are, however, some conditions to breeding. Breeding a male to a female will most likely be sucsessful. If, however, you force them to breed too often in a small period of time, they will grow unfriendly. The litter count will decrease and danger will go to either gryphion being bred. They are very moody when bred like this, and will sometimes attack other gryphions, the litters, or the bonded human. Watchout here! We don't want that to happen!
And, the last aspect of this adoptable that is to be mentioned now is Training. Although training is partially roleplay, we are planning to make training grounds where roleplay might not be necessary. So, if you just want to train and not roleplay, that's fine. I do recommend roleplay, since it is both fun, and rewarding. But, training is rewarding alone too. Gryphions are pretty competitive creatures. They bond with humans, and for some reason get better at improving their skills. The humans are helpful in this, they can aid in improvement and learning of a gryphion. Why not compete after you train? You're gryphion will hold bragging rights, plus he will get even stronger with every win.
