Elementals are immortals who rank beneath Unifications, so they should take orders from them. Since they are generally wild of spirit this usually doesn't happen. | | Faequine | By far the most prevalent of the FaeKind are the basic Faequine.
As the name would suggest, Faequine are similar to equines, though they tend to resemble draft breeds specifically. Most of them have thick feathers and a fairly large body structure.
To separate themselves from normal equines, Faequine have longer ears, glassy pupil-less eyes, cloven hooves, and a rather interesting tail. | | Faette | A Faette is a smaller type of FaeKind. Faettes are rather like a Shetland pony, they are small, live in mountain regions, and have an abundance of hair and feathers to keep warm. They're also energetic and very friendly.
It is believed that Faettes were at one time pure Faequines. However, some cross-breeding led to them shrinking in size and losing some abilities. Also because of all the cross-breeding, Faettes suffer from VRG - Very Random Genetics. | | Familiars | FaeFamiliars are smaller creatures which live on the island where the FaeKind inhabit.
Many of these animals are similar to those seen off the island, but have spent generations living and adapting to this particular environment.
FaeKind particularly attuned to nature can befriend one of these creatures, or you can capture one for yourself. | | Unification | The Unifications are the gods of the FaeKind world, or at least demi-gods.
These children of Ien and Una are powerful immortals who have been charged with watching over all FaeKind. Each one represents and unifies the magic of a particular force necessary for the smooth workings of mortal existence.
These forces include everything from life, birth, and death, to rather mundane and silly things such as luck and anxiety. |
